What to Expect on the Visit
You send your reg and location, we confirm the battery type from the vehicle's spec and quote a fixed price before we set off. On arrival we run a load test to confirm the battery — not the alternator or a bad earth — is the actual fault, since fitting a new battery over an alternator fault just leaves you stranded again within days.
Most London cars now run stop-start systems or sit on AGM/EFB batteries rather than standard lead-acid, and these need the correct spec fitted or the stop-start function stops working. We carry the common AGM and EFB sizes as standard stock, so most jobs are done in a single visit without an extra parts run.
Once fitted, many vehicles — most VAG, BMW, and Mercedes models included — need the battery management system told a new battery is in place, otherwise the charging system keeps trying to manage the old one's characteristics and battery life is shortened.
